Grand Alliance for China's Reunification under the Three Principles of the People
The Grand Alliance for China's Reunification under the Three Principles of the People () is a pro-Kuomintang political association in the Republic of China (Taiwan) dedicated to the reunification of the Chinese mainland with the island of Taiwan. The association believes that the reunification will take place only on the basis of the Three Principles of the People of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and a ''de jure'' Taiwan should be kept. The association is active in the Republic of China, Canada and the United States.
The association was officially established in Yangmingshan, Taipei in 1982 Chungshan Building. At the time of its creation 1600 people were present. Among the people there were government officials, religious leaders, educators, entrepreneurs and political refugees from the Chinese Mainland . The reason for its creation was to combine a central body of the opinion of the reunification with the Mainland 〔http://www.taiwantoday.tw/ct.asp?xItem=127809&CtNode=451〕
Mainland China 's Association for China 's Peaceful Unification (中国 和平 统一 促进会) h also promotes the reunification of Taiwan with the mainland, but from a communist perspective .
